Payment Options:
We are pleased to accept
payment by Cash, Cheques, Postal Orders and most major
Credit and Debit Cards.
We are able to accept Paypal as an alternative to credit
cards.
Cheques or Postal Orders should be made payable to
WELLSCOPE COMPUTERS. Sufficient time must be allowed
for cheques to clear. If sending cash please use registered
post.
Postal Charges:
No orders will be dispatched
unless appropriate postage fees have been included.
All postage costs can be found next to every item.
Credit and Debit Card orders and orders accompanied by
cash or postal orders will normally be sent out within
48 hours, subject to item availability.
Currently all our orders are sent via Royal Mail First
Class Post.
Returns:
We will happily refund
or exchange any item purchased from Wellscope Computers.
Customers wishing to return goods should notify us
within 14 days if they are not to their satisfaction.
After this period the sale is final.
We make no charge for returns – there is no restocking
fee.
Returned goods must be returned in exactly the condition
they were supplied original packaging with all labels
still attached. We will refund you in the same way
payment was made.
If you are returning an item due to it not fitting or
being unsuitable, you will need to pay the postage costs
to return it to us.
We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post
to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions
of business by Wellscope Ltd., of
Keward Park, Glastonbury Road, Wells, Somerset, BA5
1QE (and hereinafter referred to as "Wellscope")
apply to any sale of goods made by Wellscope to the
Purchaser or work carried out on equipment supplied
by the Purchaser. These conditions shall form part
and govern the contract of sale and/or work. Acceptance
of goods by the Purchaser shall be deemed to be acceptance
by the Purchaser of these conditions of sale. Any
term sought to be imposed by a Purchaser either in
a document or otherwise that conflicts either, or
adds to these conditions is not accepted. No agent
or representative of Wellscope has the authority to
vary these conditions unless done so in writing by
the directors of Wellscope.
1. Payment
and Price
1.1
All quotations are given in good faith of the goods
or work involved. However Wellscope reserves the right
to vary the quoted price for the goods by upward additions
in accordance with market conditions at the date of
actual supply and the purchaser shall pay such additions
in addition to the quoted price.
1.2 Price lists
do not constitute an offer.
1.3 All prices
quoted are inclusive of VAT. Prices will be adjusted
accordingly for any change in VAT Rates.
1.4 All invoices
are due for payment on the date shown on the invoice.
Payment is to be made in Pounds Sterling.
1.5 All overdue
accounts outstanding for 14 days or more shall accrue
interest that will be calculated on a daily basis
at the rate of 5% above the base rate of Lloyds TSB
Bank applicable at the time.
1.6 All goods
remain the property of Wellscope until paid for in
full.
1.7 Any goods
passed to the Vendor for repair shall be paid in full
before the goods are returned to the customer.
2. Availability
of Goods
2.1
Wellscope shall use its best endeavour to comply with
the date named for despatch, delivery or repair. Such
dates are given and intended as an estimate only and
is not to be the essence of the contract. If, owing
to non-availability of the goods or other causes beyond
Wellscope's control, Wellscope shall be at liberty
to determine the contract or part thereof by giving
notice in writing to the Purchaser.
3. Property
and Risk
3.1
For so long as any amounts remain owing from the Purchaser
to the Vendor (whether immediately due or not) title
to the property of the goods shall remain with the
Vendor and ownership shall not pass to the Purchaser
until the Vendor has received payment in full.
3.2 In the event of the Purchaser reselling the goods,
if Wellscope has not received all amounts owing to
it, the Purchaser shall account to Wellscope for the
proceeds of any such sale and meanwhile hold all proceeds
of such sale of such goods upon trust Wellscope until
Wellscope has received such amounts in full.
3.3 Wellscope shall have the right to trace all proceeds
in accordance with the principles of R v. Hallets
Estates 1880 113CH.D96.
3.4 At any time after the due date for payment from
the Purchaser to Wellscope, and so long as such amounts
have not been received by Wellscope in full, at the
Purchaser's expense, shall have the right to enter
the Purchaser's premises and remove there from all
goods which remain the property of Wellscope, in the
event of any unpaid invoices.
3.5 Wellscope shall reserve the right to reclaim any
goods previously supplied to the value of the unpaid
invoice.
4. Design
Variation
4.1
Whilst Wellscope will make every effort to ensure
that goods supplied correspond to, in every respect,
with the sample, specification or description provided
as the case may be, Wellscope is not responsible for
minor variations in specification, colour or other
design features, and no such minor variation shall
entitle the Purchaser to rescind the contract or shall
be the subject of any claim against Wellscope by the
Purchaser.
5. Claims
No
liability for any claim for damage or non-functionality
shall be accepted unless the Purchaser notifies Wellscope
in writing within seven day. This period may be extended
at the sole discretion of Wellscope where the manufacturer's
replacement exceeds this deadline.
5 .1 No liability for any claim for missing items
such as manuals, connecting cables, etc shall be accepted
unless the Purchaser notifies Wellscope in writing
within forty-eight hours of delivery.
5 .2 No liability for any claim shall be accepted
in the case of goods differing in quantity or description
from the particulars given on the delivery note or
invoice unless the Purchaser notifies Wellscope in
writing within forty-eight hours of delivery and the
onus is upon the Purchaser to prove any shortage.
5 .3 In the case of manufacturers who operate direct
product support and returns procedures, the Purchaser
accepts an obligation to process their claim directly
through the manufacturer.
5 .4 No warranty is extended to consumable items e.g.
printer cartridges and blank media.
5 .5 No liability for any claim shall be accepted
for damage whether mechanical, electrical or software
or data loss to equipment (including complete systems,
peripherals and components) supplied by Wellscope
to the Purchaser, or equipment owned by the Purchaser
but not supplied by Wellscope, where such damage is
caused by the Purchaser adding, removing or modifying
in any way any item of hardware, software, programs
or inappropriate use of the same, or computer software
viruses whether introduced by Wellscope or the Purchaser.
6. Repair
work, Modifying and Upgrading of Clients own equipment.
6.1
All equipment supplied by the Client to Wellscope
for repair, modifying, reconfiguring, upgrading, problem
solving, physical damage of any kind, is strictly
at the Client's own risk.
6 .2 All software installed or passed to Wellscope,
any media, information, data or any other information
contained within the computer is strictly at the Client's
own risk.
7. Guarantee
All
goods, excluding re-furbished goods and goods covered
under clauses 6.1 & 6.2 above are warranted free from
manufacturing defect for the period manufacturers
warrantee.
7.1 All workmanship is warranted for 365 days from
the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated at the
time of purchase.
7.2 Goods falling within these periods shall be exchanged,
repaired or credited at the sole discretion of Wellscope
except where such failure can be attributed to reasonable
wear and tear or user error or misuse, providing the
goods are returned subject to conditions outlined
in clause 8.
7 .3 Excluding goods covered under clauses 6.1 & 6.2
above, or unless otherwise stated at the time or purchase,
all goods are warranted on a "back to base" basis.
The Purchaser shall be responsible for all carriage,
telephone, postal and incidental charges incurred
during the guarantee period.
8. Returned
goods
Wellscope
shall not accept goods for credit or rectification
unless such a return has been authorised by the vendor,
and that Wellscope receives the goods in stock condition,
with all original packaging.
8.1 Wellscope retains the right, at its sole discretion,
whether to accept the return of goods or to issue
a credit note in respect thereof.
8.2 Wellscope reserves the right not to issue credit
for goods returned after 30 days from the date of
the original invoice and where such credit is granted
the credited amount shall not exceed the current market
value or the invoiced value, whichever is the lower.
8.3 Wellscope reserves the right to charge a restocking
fee of not less than 25% on goods returned for credit
that are not in stock condition, that are not returned
complete with the original packaging, or that have
been ordered in error by the Purchaser.
8.4 All returned goods must be received at Wellscope's
premises within the warranty period, irrespective
of when any returns authorisation may have been given.
8.5 The Purchaser shall, unless otherwise stated,
be responsible for the cost of outward and return
carriage and insurance of all goods returned by the
Purchaser to Wellscope. The onus of proof of such
delivery shall rest with the Purchaser.
8.6 All goods returned to the Vendor by pre-arrangement
and found to contain no fault shall be subject to
a 25% restocking charge, providing the goods are in
original stock condition. Any variation of this restocking
charge shall be at the sole discretion of the Vendor.
8.7 No credit shall be allowed for goods until they
have been received complete and tested by the Vendor.
9. Consequential
loss
9.1
The extent of the liability of Wellscope to the Purchaser
for any default or breach whatsoever and howsoever
arising shall in no case exceed the invoice value
of the goods and as in clause 7 above, the Vendor
shall in no circumstances be liable to the Purchaser
in respect of any loss or damage including loss of
date whether suffered by the Purchaser or any customer
of the Purchaser and whether direct, inconsequential
or however else arising.
Law
If
any part of these terms and conditions should be found
to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or
enforceability of the remainder of the conditions.
This contract is and shall be deemed to been made
in England and shall in all respect be governed by
English Law. In respect of consumer sales only, statutory
rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

If parts are needed for your repair, we will ring
first with a quotation before proceeding, unless you
have previously given authorisation. Sometimes it
is necessary to fit new parts to diagnose a problem,
but you are not obliged to accept these if you do
not wish to proceed with the repair.

How do I buy an item?
Simply browse our sales catalogue, and when you
have found the item you want, click 'Buy Now' to buy it.
If you plan to buy more than one item, click the 'Add to
Cart' button to place it in your sales basket. Follow this
step for each item you wish to order. You may view your
selected items by clicking the View Cart button in the top
left. When you have finished shopping, click View Cart,
then select Proceed To Checkout.
4. What
if I want to cancel an order?
Once you have confirmed your order you will not be
able to cancel the order online. Go to the Contact Us menu to
email us. If the item(s) have already been dispatched, please
go to the T&C menu to view our returns policy.
5. What
happens if an item is out of stock?
Once we have accepted your order, the stock is automatically
reserved for you. In the event that we are out of stock of an
item that you have ordered we will contact you by email or telephone
to suggest an alternative item or refund.
Note: If we are out of stock in our shop, we may still have
stock in our warehouse; in this circumstance you will be advised
by email or telephone.

is your policy on returns?

We only hold the information you give us when you make
an order, plus the history of the orders you have placed with
us and any changes to your personal details. We will never sell,
trade or rent your personal information to any third party.

it secure to give my credit card details over the internet?
Our site uses industry-standard
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption
of personal information such as your name, address and credit
card details. In this way, information passed between your computer
and us cannot be read in the unlikely event of someone intercepting
it.

I have a product delivered outside the UK?
We usually only deliver to locations within the UK.
But email us and we may make an exception!
10. What
methods of payment do you accept?
Payments are processed by through Paypal, who accept
Paypal transactions and most major credit and debit cards, including
MasterCard, Visa, American Express.
11. My
purchase is a gift for someone else; can I send it directly
to their house?
We CAN deliver to another address, however to help
prevent credit card fraud the payment system may ask you for
YOUR address to ensure you are the card holder. If you do not
get the option to supply both a billing address AND a delivery
address, please contact us as soon as you place your order to
discuss your alternate delivery arrangements.
